If Denmark is not your main destination, you are requested to submit your application at the diplomatic or consular representation of the country, member of the Schengen agreement, which is your main destination in the Schengen area.
Before submitting an application for a visa or a residence and work permit in your country of residence, you are kindly requested to read the below-mentioned practical guidelines carefully.

Checklist when applying for a visa
Important:
• The Embassy reserves the right to request additional documents if necessary.
• The submission of a complete application does not automatically entitle the applicant to a visa.
• Your passport must be valid (date of expiry must exceed by 3 months the expiry date of the visa).
• Your visa application should be prepared with great attention and care. To make sure your application is complete, please kindly attentively check the list of required documents.
• When you submit your application, make sure you are on time for your appointment and that your application is complete.
• If your visa is granted please be advised that you will have to buy a travel-repatriation insurance with a minimum cover of 30.000 Euro valid in all the Schengen countries.
• The flight ticket and travel insurance should only be bought once your visa has been granted.
• 2 Passport photos. The photos of 35x40 mm should be of good quality (on photo paper), in colour with white background. They should be recent (taken max. 6 months prior to the submission of the application).
The applicant must appear in person to submit his application.
Incomplete applications will be rejected.
Application forms not entirely filled out will be rejected.
For your own comfort only applicants, minors and accompanying persons will be admitted to the premises of the Embassy.
